It is very lightweights and the handmade paper has a wonderful texture. I used this journal twice because it was only half full after the first trip. I first used it in May 2001 on my trip to Suisse (Neuchâtel, Cortaillod, Bern, Genève), Österreich (Wien, Salzburg), and Deutchland (München, Baden Baden). It next travelled with me in September 2001 on my trip to Nederland (Amsterdam), Deutchland (München), Czech Republic (Praha), and Hungary (Budapest).
